If you're in the mood for hard rock, check out the new album by Bionic Juno called 6Mill. The first cut on the CD, Moojuhui Gweehwan [RealAudio], qualifies as the hardest sound to be heard out of the South Korea?truly a rock fan's dream. On the other hand, Stalker [RealAudio] sounds like it came from a completely different performer. This is a soft-pop song, drastic contrast to the first track on the album. You might expect it to break into a wicked guitar riff, but it never will.

It's a good bet that half the people buying Lee Ji Hoon's fourth album are actually fans of H.O.T. The first single off Lee's CD is Chunae [RealAudio], a quiet pop piece written by Kang Ta of H.O.T. Kang Ta also chimes in on the chorus, which should mean that a large group of teenaged girls will buy the album. The title cut indicates the dominate style of the album, as does the ballad Seulpen Yuhngeug [RealAudio]. What we have here is toned-down music set to synthesizers.

Though you might have been tempted to give up on Clon after Clon 3, but Clon 4, New World, has a nice new single, Choryun [RealAudio]. If you remember the pop-rock of 1980s Russia, this sound of this song should remind you of that. Shoobali [RealAudio] is also pretty catchy, but we still need to see the video???

As I'm sure everybody knows by now, Drunken Tiger has released their second album. The lead single off it is Weedaehan Tansaeng [RealAudio], which clearly demonstrates that DT has 'skillz,' but may makes you wonder what the world is coming to. Same goes for Drunken Symphony [RealAudio] and the rest of the CD. For me it's a guilty pleasure -- those are some strong lyrics1x

In direct competition with Drunken Tiger right now is 1TYM's second album, 2nd Round. 1TYM is calling their style "hip hop core" these days (allegedly hip hop influenced by rock). Well, okay, but you may not hear anything "core" in One Love [RealAudio]. This is a nice rap ballad, but there's little new in their style. The rap is good in Ggwaejinah Chingching [RealAudio] as well. This song may remind you a little of Chakra's Han [RealAudio] with the sitar at the beginning.
