Ever wonder what your favorite artists sound like off the stage? I've been collecting interviews of some of the hot groups for your listening and viewing pleasure.
As we can hear on the airwaves, Baek Ji Young's debut album Sorrow is doing well for the young singer. The first single, Boodam [ASX] went right to the top of the charts. She should also see success with Suntaek [MP3] with its Latin beat and flair. The Suntaek video [RealVideo] carries on this Latin style by focusing on a matador theme. To learn more about this new sensation, be sure and watch this interview [RealVideo] here.
Position's fourth album is wildy popular, especially the song Blue Day [RealAudio]. As you will see by this interview [RealVideo], this song is related to the Japanese pop scene (the video for the song was shot in Japan). This interview also elucidates the plot of the song as well.
An interview [RealVideo] with S.E.S. seems timely, given how well their single Love [RealAudio] is doing these days. Or, you can take a virtual dance lesson with the members of the group. Eugene teaches a move from Dreams Come True [RealVideo], Bada shows you how to dance to Oh My Love [RealVideo], and Shoo demonstrates the wiggle from I'm Your Girl [RealVideo]. They make it look too easy.
A lot of people compare the visual rock group Y2K with Glay. As it turns out, this is an appropriate comparison. Two of the groups rockers, Kochi and Yuichi are from Japan (Jae Keun is from Korea). In a KBS interview, the group discusses their background and history. Y2K's two big hits in Korea this year are Biryun (Sorrow) [RealAudio] and Gipeun Seulpeum (Deep Sorrow) [ASX].
I admit that I missed The S#arp's debut album -- I didn't hear their big singles Yes [MP3] and Lying [MP3] until after their second album caught my attention. If you are a fan of any of these old songs or maybe one of the new singles such as Tell Me, Tell Me [MP3], Gaggai [MP3] or For You [MP3], you'll really want to watch this interview with The S#arp. You can also watch the video for Tell Me Tell Me [RealVideo] online.
As you can hear in this interview, Lim Hyun Jung is a very talented musician. She writes her own music and produces her own albums. From her second album Scissors Hand, you can hear It Is Not Everything That You See [RealAudio] to judge her musical ability for herself.
I think everyone will find the interview [RealVideo] with Kim Hyun Chul quite interesting (don't be thrown off by the fact that the video clip is titled "President Kim in Moscow"). He discusses his seventh album during the interview and humorously admits that the music he does is always the same -- there is no difference between this album and his last1x The one single from this album that stands out in my mind is Yon Ae [RealAudio], which is a jazzy ballad.
It is hard not to notice how laid-back Sung Jin Woo is during an interview [RealVideo]. Is he even awake? This interview focuses on his fourth album, which took him over two years to complete. The notable song from this album is Don't Look Back [RealAudio], a groovy Eurodisco tune.
Finally, you can watch an interview with my favorite duo, Bijou. I think Choi Da Bi and Jou Min are the cutest things on earth. They wrote all the songs on their second album, including Noogoo Bodah Nul Saranghae (I Love You More Than Anyone Else) [RealAudio].
