Songs off the charts FREE MP3 & RealAudio Downloads
Most on-line music can be found in MP3, RealAudio or VQF formats. However, another popular method of encoding music produces files in the ASX format. These files can be played on your Windows Media Player. So, what are some of the songs off the charts that you can listen to in ASX format?
Lee Byung Hyun is probably best known for his role in the drama Happy Together. The success of the title cut from Lee Byung Hung's debut CD Tears might make the actor consider sticking with the singing career. Noonmool [ASX] is the theme song from the popular drama.
Another member actor-turned-singer is Ko Ho Kyung. You probably saw her in the movie JoYongHan GaJok, or perhaps when she was working as a model or an MC. You can now listen to the title cut [ASX] from her debut CD, Chueumeeutsuhyo.
The techno-dance group Space A is still climbing the music charts with Sungsook [ASX]. This rather uneven song is an exercise in sampling as the music switches between rap, dance and techno in the space of a beat.
From the five-member rock group Yada, you can hear Imi Seulpeun Sarang (Already, Sad Love) [ASX]. This rock ballad is the third cut off Yada's debut album Wear To the Healing.
My favorite song from Eve's second album is Eve (Don't Say Goodbye) [ASX]. This rock band has some good things going for them, namely their lead and bass guitars. If you like this song, I recommend buying the CD. Eve's rock competition this year is Y2K. Right now Haeuhjin Hooae [ASX] is their big hit.
Music from the underground rap group Honey Family has been popping up all over the place. Check out Namja Iahgi [ASX] if you want to hear some of their hot rapping sounds. Honey Family's CD was instantly popular, but HF is facing some stiff competition in rapper Jo PD. Listen to Fever [ASX] and you'll see what I mean.
Shi [ASX] is one of Taesaja's slower songs. The opening measures are quiet with percussion and piano supporting the vocals, however the rap/chant sections are a bit edgier.
The new arrival on the charts is Always [ASX] by Ryusi Won. This ballad should appeal to those who like Jo Sung Mo's singing. Jo Sung Mo himself is still hanging out on the charts. His Seulpun Younghon Shik [ASX] is a little more dramatic than Ryusi Won's ballad.
If you're in the mood for a techno-dance experience, listen to Moojung (No Affection) by Chae Jung Ahn. The title cut from her debut album, No Affection, this song has been slowly climbing the charts since its release.
A former member of the groups Two Two and Young Turks Club, Lim Sung Eun has been enjoying great success in her solo career. She seems to produce a hit song or two off every album she releases. Her latest album is entitled Third Refreshing, and the big hit off it is the title cut, Majimak Baeryu [ASX]. This is a dance song, so listen to it when you're in the mood for something lively.
Other than these hits, music from the more visible gayo groups is also available in ASX format. On the side of the female vocalists, Park Mi Kyung chimes in with her hit Namgyuhjin Ahpeum [ASX], and Park Ji Yoon offers Amoogutdo Mollayo [ASX]. Um Jung Hwa is finding great success with Scarlet [ASX] The war of the teenage boys continues with H.O.T.'s Aiya [ASX] and Sechs Kies' Yaegam [ASX]. And even though Baby Vox released their summer album quite a few months ago, Killer [ASX] is now on its way up the charts.
