Heather Kleinman's Cosmetic Connection may not exactly be an encyclopedia of makeup information, but it is certainly a good place to start. Kleinman breaks down the application process into Concealer, Loose Powder, Blush, Mascara and Lips (sadly lacking is the often difficult Eyeliner/Eyeshadow application process, but no matter). Within each category, she tells you not only how to apply the product, but also recommends some of the better ones. One of the best parts of her recommendations is that she manages to satisfy every budget and taste, suggesting a variety of products in every price range. In terms of scope, it doesn't get much better than Beauty Link. If it has to do with personal appearance, BeautyLink has something to say about it. Oh, did you say you wanted help with makeup application? That's here too, so don't worry. Look no further than the Cyber Make-Up Studio, which classifies your desired look (Shine, Sheer Natural, or Translucent Glow) and then helps you achieve it. Clicking on the "Tips + Talk + Technique" link will teach you all that you need to know about taking care of greasy skin and styling your frazzled hair.
