Cyber help with makeup application

Our last installment clued you in as to where you can buy the best makeup on-line. So now you've logged on, you've bought your LipTint, your Instant Lash, your oil-free concealer, and you've had it all delivered to you at home. So now what? If you don't know how to correctly apply your makeup, no amount of money spent is going to make you look sharp. So today we're going to make your money work for you by connecting you to sites that help you with your makeup application.

Heather Kleinman's Cosmetic Connection may not exactly be an encyclopedia of makeup information, but it is certainly a good place to start. Kleinman breaks down the application process into Concealer, Loose Powder, Blush, Mascara and Lips (sadly lacking is the often difficult Eyeliner/Eyeshadow application process, but no matter). Within each category, she tells you not only how to apply the product, but also recommends some of the better ones. One of the best parts of her recommendations is that she manages to satisfy every budget and taste, suggesting a variety of products in every price range. If what you see isn't enough for you, you can always subscribe to Kleinman's cosmetics newsletter, and have all her latest tips and recommendations emailed to you directly.

In terms of scope, it doesn't get much better than Beauty Link. If it has to do with personal appearance, BeautyLink has something to say about it. There's a place for "Beauty Secrets that Really Work," a link to the best haircuts and styles, a page on "Happy Hands and Feet", and a site that gossips about "the industry." Oh, did you say you wanted help with makeup application? That's here too, so don't worry. Look no further than the Cyber Make-Up Studio, which classifies your desired look (Shine, Sheer Natural, or Translucent Glow) and then helps you achieve it. Clicking on the "Tips + Talk + Technique" link will teach you all that you need to know about taking care of greasy skin and styling your frazzled hair. You can also find out what all the celebrities are wearing/doing (in case you need further style guidance) or check out some Member Make-Overs to give yourself hope. Since the makeover artist (the oddly-named Angora) gives a detailed description of what she does in the makeover, you too could learn something from someone else's makeover. And if you or someone you know is under 21 (or still dresses like she is), and wants to find out the latest for teens, check out the link from the home page to CyberTeena, whose sole reason for existence is to keep teens on the cutting edge.

Do not despair if you've just purchased an exorbitant amount of makeup and have no idea what to do with it -- now you do, thanks to these two sites. Check them out ASAP and click away to your heart's, and your face's, content1x
