Gather round, all ye serious shoppers -- those who search high and low for bargains, who will not settle for less than the best, who won't shrink from the hurdles that sometimes accompany hard-core shopping. Today, you're about to get linked to two of the best "outlet" malls that await you in your own home.
Bluefly targets a youthful audience, but don't be discouraged if you don't associate yourself with Generation X (or actually, more like "Y" in this case) -- this on-line outlet extravaganza should still have something in your size, so to speak. Brand names include Donna Karan, DKNY, BCBG Max Azria, Calvin Klein and Polo -- for men, women and kids. And lest we let our home suffer in the wake of all this fashion-consciousness, Bluefly.com has a section for home fashions -- so that your digs be as hip and trendy as you are. The women's selection at Bluefly.com is far superior to the other collections, with pages and pages of reduced-price, but still fashionable, brand-name (and mostly designer) clothing. One caveat: sometimes the selection of clothing on the site isn't the most expansive (at one time, all you found in the Polo Sport section were many, many t-shirts with the Polo logo). However, what you do find, you'll be more than happy with. The quality and delivery turnaround time at the site is excellent. And the site itself is an aesthetic delight -- not quite the same as shopping in a real mall, but maybe you don't want it to be. So while Bluefly.com may package itself as the fashion center for the youth of America, it's actually an excellent one-stop shopping mall for all of us.
SAVIshopper is actually only for men, but don't let that stop you ladies from checking it out -- it's definitely an incredible place to find gifts and to browse through those big shirts you steal from your significant other anyway. Collections include Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan and Tommy Hilfiger, and the site even separates clothing into categories -- Black Tie Optional, Board Meeting, Casual Fridays, and On The Field -- for those men who aren't so fashion-inclined. The clothing itself consists of some choice pieces from each of the designers. You can find just about anything that a man could ever want (clothing-wise) at SAVIshopper.com, which features everything from tuxedos to socks and underwear to great watches, wallets and colognes. If that isn't one-stop shopping, what is? SAVIshopper is the ideal spot for the low-maintenance man.
So if bargains are your thing, and you're short on time (as most of us are), check out these two sites. I promise you'll leave these malls with a smile.
